Reversing Atheroscleosis Nutritionally: Confirming Tests
|
|
|
| |
Atherosclerosis, a thickening or narrowing of the arteries that leads to a heart attack or stroke, has become a common medical problem. This website is intended to allow you to become an informed patient who can manage your own care, ask the right questions, insist on adequate management and information, and seek an optimal outcome for yourself. Perhaps it will even help the health professionals who are giving care to better understand and, hopefully, incorporate into their practice the nutritional approach to this serious, degenerative cardiovascular disease.
The changes following nutritional arterial cleansing can be recorded by more objective tests, such as thermography and plethysmography - safe, non-invasive techniques used to measure circulatory flow in the body.
Thermography is a photographic technique that measures and records infrared heat patterns. It can be used to detect areas of poor circulation in the body.
Plethysmography is a technique used to measure blood flow volume in the body. In atherosclerotic disease, the vigour of the blood flow may be seriously decreased.

The Huntington Beach Study
| |
|
| |
At the Preventive Medicine and Nutrition Care Center (now Health Resource Center) in Huntington Beach, California, a group of 30 men and women, averaging 62 years of age, were given thermographic and plethysmographic tests of their hands and feet.
They were then instructed to go on the nutritional arterial cleansing for a period of six (6) weeks, at which time the tests were repeated.
The following results were registered for the group:
- increased vascularity in hands by 70% and feet by 86% (thermograph)
- increased pulse volume in hands by 40% and feet by 50% (plephysmograph)
- increased flexiblity of arteries by 47%.
Considering the fact that cardiovascular disorders are chronic and take a long time to develop, to see such a high degree of response in only six (6) weeks is most significant.

The science behind arterial cleansing can be found in the works of David W. Rowland - a long-time advocate of controlling atherosclerosis by nutritional means.
If you are seeking the nutritional answer to your cardiovascular health problems, you will gain a lot by having access to this information. Dr. Rowland presents the latest information about nutritional arterial cleansing in a clear, direct style.
A detailed reasoning on the nutritional approach to atherosclerosis, can be found in the teachings of a clinical nutritionist, Carola Barczak - a long-time advocate of nutritional vascular cleansing.
