Glandular Concentrates: Adrenal, Spleen, Thymus
Here are some concerns that you may have with the glandular concentrates - adrenal, thymus, and spleen - used in our Arterial Cleansing Formula and the outbreak of bovine spongiforn encephalopathy (BSE), also known as Mad Cow disease - a chronic, degenerative disease that affects the central nervous system in cattle. Scientists believe that this disease has developed and crossed species to infect humans due to the fact that the cattle in England were fed animal by-products, such as bone meal and brains from cross-specied ruminants, specifically sheep. (Cows are herbivores that don't have a digestive system capable of breaking down and properly absorbing animal proteins!) New Zealand, United States, Argentina, Australia, Denmark, Canada and the Asian continent are considered to be free of BSE due to the fact that animal by-products are not permitted in cattle feed. We use only glandular concentrates that are imported from New Zealand bovine and sheep as they are grass-fed, free range and government-certified free of disease, herbicides, pesticides and synthetic hormones. New Zealand prohibits ruminant meat or bone meal-derived feed to be used for feeding livestock. With New Zealand grass-fed, pastured-based management systems and the prohibition of imported animal feed, there is an extremely low likelihood of BSE entering the cattle population. Based on these considerations, we feel confident that the glandular concentrates used in our Arterial Cleansing Formula are BSE-free. Furthermore, prior to manufacturing, as with our vitamins and minerals, the raw glandular material is microbiology tested for aerobic microbial count - contaminants, such as E. coli, salmonella, gram negative and positive pathogens (total plate count), ensuring that the product is free of contaminants. Our Arterial Cleansing Formula is also retested for the same contaminants after the tableting process is completed (no testing for BSE is available at this time on dry material). Glandular concentrates are made by removing surgically excess fat from the glands of animals, usually cattle and sheep. Next, the tissue is frozen rapidly at an extremely low temperature and then dehydrated in a vacuum. All possible moisture is removed by this process called lyophilization. No solvents of any kind are used. All desirable nutritional factors of the original glands are retained and maintain their stability for an extended period of time. Glandular concentrates are completely safe. They are not hormones, they do not contain hormones, do not act as hormones, and do not depress the body's production of hormones. They merely provide specific raw material to help glands repair themselves and function better. We hope that the above will allay your concerns and help you feel confident of the quality of the glandular concentrates used in our Arterial Cleansing Formula.
